# Workflows

> Turn a process your team runs regularly into a standard workflow Henry follows every time.

A **workflow** is a skill that describes a repeatable process: the goal, the steps and the tools each one uses, the decision points, the output format, and a final checklist Henry verifies before finishing.

## Standardize this

When Henry notices your team running the same kind of process again, it offers in the thread:

> This looks like a process you run regularly. Want me to save it as a standard workflow? Say "standardize this" and I'll draft it here for you to approve.

Say **"standardize this"** (or "save this as a process"). Henry drafts the workflow in the thread. Read it, ask for changes, and say yes when it is right. Henry saves it only after your approval.

If you do not want it, just do not reply. Henry does not offer again in that channel for three weeks.

## Using a workflow

Once saved, Henry follows the workflow whenever the same kind of request comes up, and names it when it does. Workflows appear under **Workflows** on the Skills page with their full history, so you can see how they evolved and revert any change.

## Workflows and tasks

A workflow is how to do something. A [task](/user-guide/tasks/overview) is when to do it. Combine them: "every Friday, run the weekly renewals workflow and post the result here."
