Roles

Making someone an admin is how you give them billing control. There is no separate billing role.

Inviting

Enter an email, choose Member or Admin, and click Invite. Invites appear under Pending invites until accepted. Only admins can invite. Personal workspaces have no invites.

Slack member status

Check Slack member status removes anyone Slack marks as deactivated or deleted. Useful after offboarding in Slack.

Removing a member

Click Remove on a member’s row. Access ends on their very next request. Henry then reversibly disables what they owned and tells you exactly what changed:
  • Pending invites they sent are revoked.
  • Scheduled tasks they created are paused. An admin can still run them or take them over.
  • Integration connections they owned are disabled, not deleted. Re-enable from Integrations or reconnect under a new owner.
  • Connection invites they extended are revoked.
  • Standing approvals they granted are removed.
  • Their Slack link is removed and their texting link is paused. If they return, texting resumes with START and no re-verification.
  • Access restrictions you set on them are deliberately kept, so a re-invite does not silently restore full access.
Nothing is deleted, and every step can be flipped back on.
If the removed member was the identity behind your Microsoft Teams connection, Henry says so loudly. Unlinked Teams users have no access until an owner or admin reconnects Teams from Settings.

Who can use Henry

Beyond membership, admins can restrict who Henry responds to in Settings → Permissions → Who can use Henry. See Permissions.
