What Henry makes
Henry also still makes CSV files for data work, and it can edit a workbook you share with it.
How to ask
- Name the kind. “PDF”, “spreadsheet”, “Word doc”, “deck”, “PowerPoint”. Saying “send me something I can forward” or “export it” also tells Henry you want a file.
- Henry never makes a file unasked. When an answer is shaped like a report, it offers once, in one line (“Want this as a PDF?”). Say yes and the file arrives.
- “Make me a doc” means a Henry document. Google Docs or Google Sheets only when you say Google; then Henry makes it in your connected Google account and links to it there.
- Follow up on the same file. “Make it two pages”, “export it as PowerPoint”, “send it as a PDF”. Henry works from what it already made.
Where files appear
Files Henry makes in a Project chat also appear in that project’s Files tab.
The look
Henry uses your website’s colours and logo. There is no brand kit to set up: Henry reads your company’s site once and keeps the look for every file it makes. Ask for “a plain version” when you want one without the branding. A workspace with no website, and every personal workspace, gets Henry’s own clean style.Sending a file to someone
Ask in the chat the file came from: “email me the PDF”, “send the report to jane@client.com”.- A teammate gets the file as an email attachment straight away, no approval needed. Over 25 MB they get a link instead.
- Anyone outside your workspace never gets the file itself. Henry stages a confirmation card naming the file, its size and the address. After you approve, they get a link.
- Links last seven days. A teammate who opens one sees the file in the web app; anyone else sees a download page.
